15 октября в Петербурге состоится мини-семинар “Развитие города в информационном обществе”
Цель семинара - рассказать о том, какие проекты могут делать программисты для развития города, как информационные технологии могут помочь существующим кросс-дисциплинарным проектам и, возможно, сгнерировать какие-то новые идеи.
Приглашаются программисты, дизайнеры, архитекторы, и все кому интересны проблемы развития города и общества.
В программе - мастер-класс о создании современных кросс-дисциплинарных проектов развития территорий от Do It Together (социально-благотворительный проект развития территорий, работавший этим летом на Соловках), мастер класс по управлению коллаборативными проектами, IT-проекты для общественной кооперации и обсуждение идей.
Вход бесплатный, но надо зарегистрироваться.

This post is an announcement of a mini-seminar about using IT for city-improvement projects that we are going to have on October 15 in St.Petersburg, Russia.
The seminar will last 2,5 hours, and the agenda includes a workshop on territories development projects from http://do-it-together.ru/ , a workshop on collaboration projects management, review of IT-projects in the field of public cooperation existing worldwide, a discussion, and idea generation.
Then we are going to continue at the Hack Day #9 ( St. Petersburg, Russia ) by starting some projects from the generated ideas.

ReplyDeleteIt's great to see that you are organizing this event. If you'd like to send me some questions via email I will do my best to answer them before the event. We can try to set up Skype, too. I'm interested to know what priorities and/or opportunities your group identifies. For example, are you targeting online participation, open data, civic collaboration, or something else?

ReplyDeleteIt turns out that our event targeted to introduce some ways how IT and the Internet can help cities and citizens splits up into two main branches: information technologies in territory development projects and e-tools that help people to collaborate in solving society's problems.
First branch is represented by a master-class prepared by Maxi and Danil from Do-It-Together project (http://www.do-it-together.ru/en/about.html).
The second one, public cooperation, is of interest here: what e-tools are used there in the US and Europe to help people to cooperate with each other and local governments in solving problems, what are the main trends in it? So, I think, if to use terms, probably public cooperation and e-government tools are the main areas of interest.
